Since childhood, I’ve always felt a deep calling to help others. That passion led me to begin my healthcare journey working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Woodside. From there, I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Working as a Registered Nurse was incredibly rewarding, but I found myself wanting more autonomy and a deeper role in patient care. This inspired me to pursue my Doctor of Nursing Practice- Family Practice Practitioner (DNP-FNP) degree at UW-Oshkosh while continuing to work part-time as a Registered Nurse.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I quickly recognized a gap between traditional care models and the comprehensive care my patients deserved. I was drawn to functional medicine because of its holistic approach—looking beyond symptoms to uncover the root causes of illness. I believe optimal health is achieved by integrating modern medicine with a deeper understanding of how the body functions as a whole.
My mission is to empower patients by equipping them with the scientific knowledge necessary to take control of their own health developing a personalized plan. I prioritize active listening, clear communication and education, knowing these are essential for building a trusting patient-provider relationships.
I’m incredibly grateful to be part of Lindgren Functional Medicine and excited to serve the Green Bay Community I call home.
